Representation

Licensed Child Care Programs, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Children’s Services, Early Childhood Community Development Centre, Quality Child Care Niagara, Brock University, Niagara College, Francophone, Aboriginal.

Niagara Child Care Sector Executive Committee is committed to:

    • communicating regularly with the child care sector, policymakers, and the public on issues
      related to early learning and care.
    • facilitating the development of sustainable solutions for emerging issues, needs, and concerns.
    • advocating for and supporting the child care sector and profession, wherever and whenever possible.

Some of our roles and responsibilities are...

    • moving forward Vision and Mission, which is established through a strategic planning process.
    • committing time to support the work of other committees and ensure two-way communication between Sector Executive and the relevant committees.
    • taking a leadership role in the child care community in sharing information on Sector Executive’s work.
    • ensuring the identified work fits within the purpose and vision of the sector.
    • bringing an impartial voice of the child care community to the table and not that of special interest groups.
