Seasonal Weekly Menus

These menus were designed by Niagara Region Child Care Cooks and approved by Niagara Region Public Health. They are organized by season rather than by month to reduce weekly repetition and ensure that children are provided with a wide variety of tastes, colours and diverse foods. Recipes comply with the Canada’s Food Guide and Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. Please note that some of the menus may suggest using nuts and that these recipes should be made with caution. Ensure baked goods offered are made from healthier recipes such as those found in Bake It Up. Whole fruits and vegetables should be offered more than juice.
