Implicit bias and racial inequity have existed for a long time. Families are children’s first teachers. Children begin to construct their identity—to understand who they are—from understanding their own culture and by responding to how others see and relate to them. This workshop will help early childhood educators to recognize their own implicit bias and implement culturally and linguistically relevant strategies that enable all children to feel valued and successful.
