Roots of Empathy Speaker Series

Roots of Empathy's International Speaker Series, based in Ontario, brings together policy-makers, academics, social service providers, educational practitioners and community citizens. Goals are to mobilize new knowledge around relevant themes and create space for enhancing connections between researchers and research users and beneficiaries. Each evening includes a keynote presentation followed by a question and answer session with the audience to round out the discussion, incorporating perspectives from those in attendance.

Niagara partners were invited by Roots of Empathy International to the June 22 2017 event: The Canadian Family – Redefined Inclusion,  at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Ontario.

Through generous funding received from Roots of Empathy International, the ECCDC was delighted to arrange, on their behalf, a bus to transport Niagara educators and Roots of Empathy Niagara facilitators to the session.

Visit the Roots of Empathy Speaker Series webpage for details on the June 2018  and earlier events.
