Job Requirements
Qualifications needed for Employment
• College and/or University Diploma/Degree in: Registered Early Childhood Educator - At time of hire
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance. Valid only if obtained within 6 months or less. - Must have proof of receipt at time of hire
• Immunizations Records - At time of hire
• Standard First Aid/CPRC - Must be valid at time of hire
• Food Handlers - Can obtain during employment
• High Five - Can obtain during employment
• Previous Child Care Experience - Preferred – Can be gained through employment.

Job Description
The BGC Niagara is currently seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of the Full Time Program Worker. The role of the Program Worker is to help carry out the day to day operations of the child care center, helping implement programs for children in care within the requirements of the current curriculum following How Does Learning Happen?

Employment type: Full Time 35-44 hours per Week.
Starting rate: Registered Early Childhood Educators - $23.86- $24.86
On top of the base wage, Registered Early childhood Educators working in Licensed Child Care receive a $2/hr. Wage Enhancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliverables include but are not exclusive to:
• Responsible for care and safety of the children;
• Prepare daily plans for assigned activities consistent with program curriculum handbooks;
• Supervise and instruct children assigned to your group;
• Follow the safe arrival and departure practices;
• Follow the healthy principles of child development, High 5;
