We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator and/or Child Care Practitioner to join our team. This role involves creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through innovative teaching strategies and individualized care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child welfare, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Experience with curriculum development, special education, and literacy education is highly valued. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and growth.
Collaborate with families, educators, and specialists to support individual learning goals and developmental progress.
Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction.
Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards.
Incorporate Play-Based learning or other specialized educational methods as applicable to enhance learning experiences.
Promote child welfare by ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times within the classroom environment.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings or similar environments is required.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and classroom management.
Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to Infant, toddler, and preschool care is essential.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Experience working with diverse student populations including those requiring additional support such as special education is desirable.
