Job Requirements
RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C
Current Vulnerable Sector Check
Strong knowledge of child development, play-based learning and emergent curriculum
Familiarity with CCEYA, How Does Learning Happen? and ELECT
Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills
Ability to support inclusive practices and individual children's needs
Reliable, professional, flexible and positive
Previous licensed childcare experience is an asset
Most importantly — a genuine passion for working with children and being part of a great team!

Job Description
We are looking for an RECE to join our growing team and help create a warm, engaging and inclusive environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.

The RECE will work closely with children, families and fellow educators to provide high-quality, play-based programming that supports each child's development and individual interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
Build positive, responsive relationships with children and families
Observe, document and support children's learning and development
Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with educators and support professionals
Support children's individual needs and abilities
Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming learning environment
Follow CCEYA regulations, centre policies and professional standards
Participate in team meetings, professional development and ongoing program planning
Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and colleagues
