Type: In-Person

This is an in-person refresher course offering lifesaving first aid skills, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, and injury prevention skills and knowledge. The course includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and child care worker safety requirements. Participants must attend and participate in the in-person class, as well as receive a minimum 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation to receive a certificate.

Certificates are valid for 3 years.

Special Requirements: To attend a re-certification you must have a certificate from a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner or the Red Cross from a full course that is not expired. If your current certificate is expired, or you already have a re-certification card, the full course is required this time.

Please note that lunch will not be provided, participants are invited to bring a lunch or go offsite during the lunch break.
