In this session, we will explore the importance of bees, biodiversity basics, threats to bees and biodiversity, and conservation efforts. This session will offer the opportunity to observe a hive experience, where participants can safely see live honey bees up close, watch them dance and work together, and experience first-hand how bees support our food chain. Educators will leave with strategies for sharing experiences with children on the topic of bees and biodiversity and supports the development of empathy, wonder, and respect for the natural world.
