The early childhood and land-based learning training will discuss the importance of “play schemas” and the benefits of planning intentionality based on understanding key child development principles. Participants will engage with thinking about land-based learning and the importance of getting toddlers outdoors to develop their curiosity to understand the interconnectedness of all living things, and as a key strategy in ensuring positive mental health.
