With Acclaimed Educator, Author and Researcher Susan Stacey

The early learning environment sets the stage for early learning professionals to engage with children in learning experiences. When we as educators thoughtfully communicate, document, and respond to children, we support their growing curiosity and extend their ability to learn and explore. In this workshop, acclaimed author Susan Stacey will share stories and strategies for nurturing and supporting relationships with children as educators, through the use of materials, and in relationship with families and the community by revisiting the role of documentation. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with colleagues, reflect on their current practices, as well as immerse themselves in a deep dialogue with Susan Stacey through sharing thoughts, stories, and insights. We invite you to come ready to listen, reflect, and share experiences to deepen your understanding of the impact the environment has on developing nurturing relationships with children and families.
