With Acclaimed Educator, Author and Researcher Susan Stacey
The early learning environment sets the stage for early learning professionals to observe, reflect, and respond to children’s thinking in ways that deepen learning. When we as educators thoughtfully communicate, document, and respond to children, we support their growing curiosity and extend their ability to learn and explore.
In this workshop, acclaimed educator, author, and researcher Susan Stacey will take participants beyond the foundations of pedagogical documentation through authentic examples, collaborative dialogue, and hands-on exploration. Participants will strengthen their skills in observing and interpreting children’s thinking and creating documentation that fosters meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Together, we will explore how documentation, environments, and materials can support children’s thinking, nurture curiosity, and inspire ongoing inquiry.
