This workshop will provide practical direction on how to create plans for emergency and planned departures for Executive Directors, Senior Management, and the effective onboarding of new executives. Succession planning is an ongoing commitment of the Board and ED. Effective plans do not leave future leadership to chance and help to ensure organizational stability. Four areas will be explored during this workshop: Emergency Succession Planning, Planned Departure Planning for Retirements, Leader Development Plans, and board Succession Plans.
