The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
• Enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary program of studies related to early learning and child care.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen between the ages of 15 and 30 years old.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and innovation in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of personal integrity.
• Ability to adapt and change daily plans as needed.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience in, the early years sector would be an asset, but not required.

The Early Childhood Community Development Centre (ECCDC) is seeking an Early Years and Child Care Educational Consultant to support the work of ECCDC’s Coaching and Mentoring Team through assisting in the investigation, research and development of professional development materials in alignment with Ontario’s early learning and child care frameworks. Consideration for a blend of in-person and remote work is possible.
