- Registered with the College of ECE’s and in good standing
- Diploma in ECE from an accredited Canadian institution (or deemed equivalent)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR/CPR-C certification
- Up to date immunizations
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning and implementing inclusive play-based learning activities that aligns with How Does Learning Happen
- Ability to build strong relationships with young children, families and team members
- QCCN Certified
- Physically able to function within an Early Learning environment
- Must complete valid food handlers’ certificate prior to employment

- Five (5) hours/day position
- Organize snacks and catered lunches including clean up
- Clean kitchen, staff room and staff washroom
- On occasion, provide full-time supply coverage during staff absences
- Attend staff meetings, training and professional development as required
- Maintain a safe, healthy and stimulating learning environment
- Establish positive and open communication with parents and team members
- Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity
