~ Diploma in ECE from an accredited Canadian Institution( or deemed equivalent)
~ Registered with the College of ECE's and in good standing
~Current standard first aid CPR/CPR-C Certification
~Up to date immunizations
~Clear vulnerable sector screening
~Strong communication and interpersonal skills
~Experience in planning and implementing inclusive play-based learning activities that aligns with How Does Learning Happen
~ Ability to build strong relationships with young children, families and team members
~ QCCN Certified
~ Experience working in a child care setting

~Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
~Provide guidance and mentorship to children within the classroom
~Maintain a safe, healthy and stimulating learning environment
~Clean children's washrooms, classrooms and hallways
~Observe and document children's learning experiences, ensuring alignment with Ontario's Early Learning Framework
~Establish positive and open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development
~Collaborate with and support team members creating a positive work environment
~Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and other industry policies and procedures
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
~Foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity
~Attend staff meetings, training and professional development as required
