· Early Childhood Education Diploma
· Registered, and in good standing, with the College of Early Childhood Educators
· Up to date CPL
· Current First Aid/CPR certification
· Current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and up-to-date immunizations required

· Able to establish and maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for parents/caregivers and their children
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Able to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional relationships with participants.
· Deliver the Early ON core services and plan activities in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s How Does Learning Happen document.
· Completed, or willing to complete, the QEN training.
· Maintain positive relationships and plan joint activities with community partners and other early years’ service providers based on professionalism, cooperation and respect.
· Facilitate child and parent/caregiver education workshops.
· Plan and facilitate both indoor and outdoor activities for families.
· Be able to recognize the needs of families and complete referrals to community supports.
