Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • New graduate or Registered RECE, in good standing with the college of ECE’s
  • Current standard first aid and CPR-C certification
  • Clear criminal Reference Check
  • Food Handlers or willing to get Food Handlers
  • QCCN Training

Professional Obligations:
Adhere to the legislative regulations and duties set under the Ontario Child Care and Early Years act
Adhere to the Professional Responsibilities and Code of Conduct set out by the College of Early Childhood Educators
Responsible for adhering to the policies and procedures in the organization
Job Description
Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Work closely and co-operatively with other program staff, and parents
  • Demonstrate the ability to direct, instruct and care for children, ensuring a safe environment
  • Assist in implementing quality program planning based on “ELECT” and “How Does Learning Happen”
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with children, parents and colleagues, and community
  • Responsible to maintain confidentiality of all information related to children, parents, and staff
  • Willing to participate with other tasks as required
  • Willing to take and follow directions
